Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Co-ops Deck The Halls at Ronald McDonald House
Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives care. That’s why our employees donated time recently to help the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Bluegrass in Lexington to decorate Christmas trees and place holiday lights on the outside of the building.
The Houses in Lexington and Louisville provide comfort to families during one of the most unimaginable times - when a child is in the hospital. It’s our way of helping make the holiday season a little brighter.
Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives are sponsors of RMHC of the Bluegrass and Kentuckiana in Louisville. Co-op employees and their families volunteer to help out by providing meals, restocking supplies, cleaning and decorating the facility.
“The members of Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives have shown their care and compassion for RMHC of the Bluegrass all year, and the lighting of the House was no different,” said Nate Graham, Executive Director of RMHC of the Bluegrass. “These wonderful volunteers came by the carloads to help decorate our House — both inside and out — to make this a home for the holidays. Their servant’s hearts were evident as they worked together to make this a special place for our guest families. This has been a truly special relationship and we look forward to partnering for years to come.”
