Touchstone Energy Balloon eventTouchstone Energy: America's largest utility network

Touchstone Energy is a nationwide alliance made up of more than 750 local, owner-member electric cooperatives in 46 states. Together, we are your source of power and information. Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Co-ops show our commitment to local communities through programs that support veterans, special athletes, families facing illnesses and victims of disasters.

Kentucky's Touchstone Energy Cooperatives sponsor an annual Honor Flight for vets who served during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War. Honor Flight Kentucky transports two veterans from each of the 16 owner-member co-ops to Washington, D.C., and return the same day to an unforgettable welcome home.

Special Olympics HugSpecial Olympics: Supporting special people

Each year, we sponsor inspiring athletes at the summer statewide games that take place at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. The competitions include track and field, swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, bocce and flag football. Our co-ops sponsor the games — the largest of the year for Kentucky Special Olympics — and our co-op family of volunteers help run the event.

Ronald McDonald House volunteersRonald McDonald House: Helping families battling illness

Employees of Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives volunteer time, talent and treasure to support Kentucky’s Ronald McDonald Houses and children battling sicknesses. To help families there who have a child in the hospital, co-op employees prepare meals and help clean the facilities.
