Grid Reliability

Grid_1_web.jpg

Grid Reliability

Reliability of electric service is fundamental to what we do. More than 1.1 million Kentucky residents and businesses depend on EKPC and our Owner-Member cooperatives to keep the power flowing and the lights on. With over 2,800 miles of high-voltage transmission lines and more than 370 substations, we are looking at ways to innovatively keep the grid operating at top condition while minimizing the impact on the environment.
